This week Nokia Beta Labs has released a newer version 1.5 of
OVI Contacts application. This application also works on Symbian S60 5th edition mobiles i.e. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini, X6, 5230 and 5530 XpressMusic.
This version solves many bugs and brings improvements to existing features. The major ones are-
- Send file from the friend list is working now.
- Issues with Cyrilic and Scandinavian letters is fixed.
- E-mail field in 'My profile' didn't accept "-" character is fixed.
- Corrupted pics in personal and friends profile are fixed.
Another newly added or rather updated feature is- This version combins all your sent messages in to a "single bubble" instead of many "subsequent bubbles". In order to use this version of OVI Contacts, you have to uninstall the existing version then only install this version. The installation also requires restart of mobile once you are finished installing this application.
