The Sims 2 Pets is a Java game for Symbian S60 5th edition based touch screen devices (Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, 5530 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini, X6, Samsung Omnia HD and Sony Ericsson Satio). The game is developed by Electronic Arts Inc. The game works in full screen (360x640) mode.

To start with The Sims 2 Pets, first you must build your sim. Pick your appearance and gender, then you must adopt and name your puppy. Your puppy will need to be cared for. You will have to feed, bathe, play with and care for your pet.

Your pet has 5 basic needs, or motives-

1. Hunger
2. Bladder
3. Energy
4. Fun
5. Hygine

The puppy will let you know if it needs anything. You can train your puppy to do tricks and to do (or not to do) some other stuffs too.

You can buy supplies at the store and the shopkeepers will help you with advice, and give you some challenges. Have fun with your new puppy!
