Nokia Internet Radio Released for S60v5 Touch screen devices Nokia 5800, X6
Nokia has released its Nokia Internet Radio application for Symbian S6v5 based touch screen mobile phones such as Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini, X6, 5230, 5233, 5235 and 5530 XpressMusic. After release, the application is immediately made available to download via Nokia OVI store.
The Internet Radio application enables you to discover and enjoy the radio shows transmitted over the Internet. Using Station Directory you can search for radio stations by genre, language or country/region. Nokia Internet Radio service enables you to enjoy the content of Internet radio stations.
The application upon launch shows the genres. You can select it and drill down to explore it further. The internet radio stations are easily accessible over GPRS, WLAN or 3G. Using the Station Directory you can search for stations by name, genre, language or location. You can discover and enjoy hundreds of stations worldwide with Nokia internet radio.
The interface is simple. You can always buy currently playing song from OVI music. You can also press * button in the right bottom of the application screen to make it your favourite radio station. The Internet Radio application version 1.1.0 is available to download from following link.
