Pirate Ship Battle is a ship versus ship combat game where you need to sink all the opponent's ships before your ships are sunk. First both player place their ships on their map grid. Ships can be either horizontally or vertically, but not on land or other ships. Ships are placed in order of size from biggest to smallest. Then both players take turns shooting the other player's grid. Hits are marked with orange and misses with light blue. Each player has one to three shots per turn depending on the number of ships remaining.
Every ship type has a special weapon attached to it, which can be used if this type of ship remains. Special weapons can be used once the loading bar has filled after every 5 shots. There are three game modes:
- Quick Game
- Campaign
- Hot Seat
