Download Game Puzzle Challenge Deluxe for Nokia 5800, N97, X6 and 5530
Puzzle Challenge Deluxe is a Java puzzle game for Symbian S60 5th touch screen mobiles. As the proud new owner of a crosspix museum, you must complete the crosspix puzzles in each of your museum's many galleries to decorate them with pictures based on the puzzles.
Completing a crosspix puzzle is a little like paint-by-numbers, except you always start off with an empty grid. You create the picture by working out which squares have to be painted and which don't. Each column and row in the grid is marked with numbers. These numbers tell us how many squares need to be painted on that line, and how they are grouped.
So '2,2' at the top of the 3rd column means that there are 4 printed squares on the column, split into 2 groups of 2. We only know they're on the line though, not exactly where, however, if a column is marked '15' and it's 15 squares long, we know we have to paint all the squares on the column, which may help us with the smaller groups of squares like column 3. Clever eh? Asking for a hint costs you 2 lives, while wrongly painting a square costs you 1.
