gStorage is a file management tool for Symbian S60 3rd and 5th edition touch screen mobile devices such as Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini, X6, 5230, 5233 and 5530 XpressMusic. If you do not feel the memory of your mobile sufficient enough to manage your data then you can consider gStorage. It's an application which can easily manage local files in your mobile and network files in a remote storage space (Gmail).
You need atleast a Gmail account in order to use this application. As we are aware of the fact that storage capacity of Gmail is pretty much large around 7 GB and more storage is possible. gStorage uses your Gmail box to store files. You can easily exchange data between mobile's local disk and remote storage space. So now with this application, the storage capacity of your mobile is good enough. The advantage is that you can view your file online on Gmail from anywhere.
You enter the details of your Gmail account, once entered, it maps network drives to your mobile. The last two disks K and L in the earlier screenshot are mapped network devices. When you launch the application, it shows your local disks. You can then select the option "Add a storage" to enter your Gmail's username and password. You dont need to worry about privacy as you can always clear any saved password through "Clear Password" option. You can read more about gStorage from their official webpage.
